Hello, and welcome! I’m a professor at Boston University, where I’ve taught constitutional law, environmental law, and cannabis law since 2001. Although I’m a lawyer and scholar, I mostly think of myself as a writer. I’ve published seven books, including a novel and a collection of short stories, as well as five non-fiction books about law written for the general reader rather than for lawyers or scholars. I’ve also published lots of shorter pieces, ranging from short stories to humor pieces to op-eds and scholarly articles.
